Seven baseball players sign their NIL represented by Coach Tim Held

On November 9th, eight Moeller Seniors signed their Letter of Intent to continue their academic and athletic careers at their chosen institutions.

Seven of the signees were baseball players: Connor Christenson (Air Force Academy), Nate Manley (Wright State), Conlan Daniel (Wright State), Clay Burdette (Ohio State), Toby Hueber (George Mason), Finn Ellis (University of Charleston), and Charlie Niehaus (University of Cincinnati). The eighth signee was lacrosse player Tommy Stines (West Point).

All of the students decided on their colleges at different times but came together to acknowledge their success at once. Charlie Niehaus said of his choice, “I decided on UC because of the beautiful facilities, amazing coaches, the future moving to the Big 12, the overall good program, and it made me feel at home. I am excited on confirming my commitment and making it official on paper knowing I have somewhere to play at the next level and am looking forward to the next chapter of my life. In my life, my dad has been the biggest influence, pushing me everyday to better myself on and off the field while supporting me consistently.”

While these athletes signed in November, many other athletes in football, volleyball, rugby, and lacrosse will also be signing their letters of intent as the academic year progresses. The Moeller Community is proud of the accomplishments of all of these students for their success in school and on the field and cannot wait to watch them fulfill their life dreams as they progress into college athletes and men.

Students sign their letters of intent.
