SAGE dining, the lunch provider at Moeller, has decided to begin a culinary club at the school. This project is headed by Amy Stull, the food service director for SAGE, and Mr. Shafer, dean of students.

The cooking club will meet on Tuesdays or Wednesdays , whichever is the A Day, for 60-90 minutes after school. For the first few meetings, members of the club will learn basic kitchen safety as well as how maintain a sanitary cooking space.

After a few meetings the members will begin to learn to make some introductory level dishes like lasagna, pesto, and various pastas. Additionally, there will be a few sessions dedicated to dessert making or a themed cooking for upcoming holidays.

As of this article (9/2/22), the cooking club has not started meeting but the signup sheet was released and emailed to everyone in the school. The club is brand new to Moeller, hoping to bring new opportunities for any student who wants a future in the culinary field, or just someone who wants to pick up some extra skills for the kitchen.

If you are interested in the cooking club, email astull@sagedining.com with any questions.
