Movie Preview - The Flash

This new highly anticipated action superhero movie is set to be released soon. Directed by Andy Muschietti and distributed by Warner Bros, The Flash will be the thirteenth movie in the DC Extended Universe. After being delayed for several years due to the pandemic and new technology issues, the movie is now set to be released on June 16th.

This is a movie that has been in the makings for some time. After being announced in 2014 and having four different directors, production of the movie started in April 2021 and finished later that year in October. The cast includes Ezra Miller as Flash, Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck as Batman, Sasha Calle as Supergirl, and many more. For all who don’t know, Flash, or Barry Allen, is a superhero who is known for his superspeed. He is a member of the Justice League and is an excellent crime fighter.

Although we don’t know much about the plot of the movie, we are left with a short trailer. The trailer shows Barry Allen crossing over into another universe, walking up to Wayne Manor, and also going back into time to prevent his mother from being murdered. We also get a look at Batman standing in the Batcave that looks similar to previous setups from back in the late 90s. This movie seems like it will be very similar to the DC comics where Barry Allen (or Flash) uses a treadmill to go back into time to prevent the murder of his mother except he ends up killing Nora Allen instead.

It's safe to say this movie will definitely be filled with action of time traveling and crossing into different universes and timelines. Will the long wait for this new movie be worth it? To find out what will happen in this new thriller, check it out in theaters on June 16th.
