Rosary on Friday; Have you gone yet.

Have you ever prayed the rosary before? Some people may have prayed it before, and some people may have never prayed it before. The Friday rosary is a good way to try it before. The Friday rosary is a good way to try it and have a good start to your Friday.

The rosary is held every Friday at 7:45 am for Moeller students, faculty, and parents. campus ministry is providing the rosary for people to pray and reflect about their week. It gives people time to think about things that have happened during the week, things they may be worried about. People can also pray for family, friends, teachers, and anything else.

Friday rosary was held in the Mary courtyard and led by campus ministry executive board members such as Jude Herron, Carson Hatchett, and Conner Bowman. Having students lead it can make other students come and encourage them to lead as well. It used to be led by teachers such as Mr. Lynch, Mr. D and Mr. Conlan. Campus ministry thought it would be better if students leading it can make it feel more like something for students and help get more students.

The purpose of the courtyard is to have a place to pray, read, and reflect. Mrs. Hais said, "Campus ministry is working on getting reflective music in the courtyard during the school day." The music will help make it a more peaceful place for students and faculty to go and pray or have a have a peaceful place to reflect. It gives students somewhere to go when they want to pray or just have a few minutes of quiet time.

There are 20-30 students that attend and 3-4 faculty and staff. It is slowly growing and more people are starting to attend. It is also open to parents that are interested on coming to pray with us. Students should tell friends to join. The numbers are growing because they are putting out flyers and sending emails to invite people to join. More people can hear about it from the flyers, emails, and other students.

Many students love praying the rosary. I hope you will come every Friday 7:25 am in the Mary courtyard to reflect and pray. Even if you have never prayed the rosary, you can still see what it is like. Come before it gets too cold outside it will be moved to the Chapple.
