Moeller Bowling Closes the Season

Since November, Moeller Bowling has taken to the alley and “let it rip”. Averaging over 2000+ points a game, the Bowling team seeks to head a young team for the tournament. Junior, Jameson Keehn is expected to be in the mix, averaging 181.4 points per game. Trailing close behind are junior Joe Fette junior, with 173.3 PPG and sophomore Brody Carpenter with 163.4 PPG. Keehn, who eclipsed a season high of 238 points vs. Elder on January 28, is seen as one Moeller’s favorites to post some numbers on the board at sectionals.

The season was highlighted with a 74-point win over Roger Bacon on January 23. Although a rough road at times, the team looks to return better than ever next season, as there are no graduating seniors on the current roster. With a strong current varsity roster of juniors Joseph Fette, Joe Hammond, William Keehn, Landon Oakley, Benjamin Richards, and Matthew Watts, next year for the group will be one to remember. Also expected to step up are sophomores Brody Carpenter and Andrew Wilson. With the break after this season, the team is expected to put in behind-the-scenes work and turn some heads next year. The sky is truly the limit for the young team.

On 2/12, the team was in action at Crossgate Lanes v. Mason at 3:30 for their last regular season matchup, going in to prepare for Sectionals the following week on February 17. Sectionals took place at Crossgate Lanes, starting at 10:00 AM. Finishing the season with wins over Walnut Hills (1923-1764) and Roger Bacon (2209-2135), the team is looking up for next year.
