Moeller house sports

Something that makes Moeller special is something that we call the house system sports.  Moeller is a very sport savvy school with a lot of our sports teams doing very well every year.  But for the athletes who are very talented but are not good enough for the school team get a second chance to play on a big stage.  Anyone who wants to can try out for the team no matter what grade you are in.  With people from every grade making the team.  The teams  play all throughout the year and when the two teams with the best record in march show, the day of the finals comes.  The day that all of the players have been looking forward to.  With 4 teams in the stands and only 2 on the court the air is thick with anticipation for everyone to get their first look at house basketball.  With all of the players being visually nervous with the entire school in the stands, you know it will be a good game. House basketball finals has become one of my favorite days of the year.  The environment is always electric which you can feel just by walking in.  It is as loud as a real game and the entire school on their feet.  Last year the game was close the entire game, but when the buzzer went of the entire school rushed the court to celebrate with the winning team.  Although basketball is the best sport in my opinion there are lots of other sports to play to get your house points. I have seen soccer, bowling, and even chess which I have taken part of.  All of the sports however all add up points to the house which could help win the Marianist cup.  This is the biggest award a house can receive.  Its what you have been working for all year.  By going to special events, doing well in the classroom, but most importantly doing well in the house games which we have a day dedicated to.  So with having heard all of this, would you want to be on the house basketball team on the day of the finals?
