Jewett Hayes ‘24 Official visit at UVA

Jewett Hayes, a 6'4", 210-pound athlete who competes at defensive end for Cincinnati's Archbishop Moeller High School, sees himself as an edge rusher at the next level. Seven football programs from major conferences had already sent offers to Jewett. Jewett is the younger brother of NBA basketball player Jaxson Hayes, who currently plays for the Los Angeles Lakers, and the son of former NFL tight end Jonathan Hayes. At Drake University, his mother Kristi was a standout collegiate basketball player. It's clear that athletic genes run strong in the Hayes family and Jewett Hayes frequently exploits his speed and athleticism to get to opposing quarterbacks. He is currently Committed to Virgina.
