Brady Bacon

Hey everyone! My name is Brady Bacon, and I am a senior here at Moeller. I have been in Cincinnati my whole life and went to a private school called MTCES for my schooling up until High School. I have a sister in 1st grade and a brother that is a junior at Ohio University. I have grown up in a great environment with two great parents and a dog as well. Although it wasn’t a bad environment, I was a middle child. This means a lot of times I had to figure things out for myself. I was often the kid that got less attention than anyone else once my sister was born. Many people see this as a bad thing, but it has really played a part in my character development and the man I am now. At Moeller, I have grown into a great person and become much more motivated. I was a part of the ski team here for a few years and also a volleyball injury up until freshman year, where I suffered a major injury that stopped me from being able to play competitively.

This semester I look forward to finishing High School off with a bang. I want to end with good grades and be well prepared to graduate and go off to college. I am excited to be part of this newspaper and improve where it left off. I want to continue Skiing at Moeller as well. High School has been a great experience, and I want to get very involved and make the most of the last semester I have left.

After Moeller I plan to go off to OU like my brother or potentially OSU. I will be pursuing a degree in criminology of some sort and want to get involved with the legal side of things as well as criminals. I’m diving into this without much insight, saying as my parents went into engineering and teaching and my brother is there for audio engineering. While I don’t know exactly what I see myself doing after college, I’m excited to go out there and do something good in the world.
