Nate Gingrich
My name is Nate Gingrich, and I come from a family of five in West Chester. Growing up, I developed a passion for Ohio State football even though the rest of my family are loyal Michigan fans. Part of me enjoys rooting for Ohio State just to keep the rivalry alive at home. Currently, I work two jobs, one as a lifeguard and the other as a cart attendant at a golf course. Outside of school, I spend much of my time golfing, working, and spending time with friends.
I am excited about the remainder of my senior year. I was fortunate to enroll in most of the classes I wanted and I took advantage of the flexibility seniors have in choosing their schedules. I chose each class to prepare me for the future and move me in a positive direction. Over this final year, I hope to make a meaningful impact on the people in my house and mentor group. I am also very eager to contribute to the school newspaper, which is something I have been looking forward to.
Looking ahead, I plan to attend the University of Cincinnati, where I will major in finance. I am also considering a minor, though I have not yet decided which field I will pursue. Since my mom works at UC, I have the opportunity to attend tuition free, which makes the decision even more practical. I am especially excited about studying finance and accounting because I enjoy working with numbers and feel confident in my ability to succeed in these areas. By the time I graduate, my goal is to have grown into the best version of myself both personally and professionally.
