Samuel Sharpshair
My name is Samuel Sharpshair. I am 17 years old, and I was born in Cincinnati. I am from a family of eleven children in Sharonville, Ohio. Throughout my life, my religious beliefs have been my central value. I was raised a Catholic and have gone through private schools from first grade till now. I had an active childhood filled with sports, including football, basketball, swimming, and track, because of my family’s past with sports. I have also been a major NFL sports admirer. I have followed the Bengals throughout my life, through their highs and lows, and continue to do so. I also have been working at Chick-fil-A for two years where service and community is the most important goals for myself and my team.
As a Senior at Archbishop Moeller High School, I am eager to engage with other interests I have planned out for this year, whether that be the final years of sports for me or attempting to make all the clubs that I am in. As the President of the Wargaming club and the Treasurer of the German Club, I want to leave an impact that others will remember for years to come. I want to finish the final year of my high school career with good grades. I want to leave a mark on this school that best shows the qualities of myself and what I have done.
A new chapter is beginning in my life. I am preparing myself for what is to come in college and life after college. I plan on continuing my career in engineering at the University of Cincinnati, pursuing my major in Civil Engineering, and attending the ROTC program. In the next stage, I am going to serve in the military as an airborne trooper for the duration of my service. After that, I will see what God continues to plan for me and follow his path because in the end, he knows what is best for all.
