Before Moeller: I grew up in Maineville, Ohio. I am the youngest of three. I have two older sisters that graduated from Ursaline, class of 2014, and class of 2023. Growing up I was incredibly involved in sports and activities outside. I played soccer for many different clubs over the years, but I stopped playing soccer after my junior year club season. I also played basketball and baseball but never had the same passion as I had for soccer. Other things you could catch me doing a lot when I was younger are fishing, playing in the woods with friends, riding bikes, riding dirt bikes, or driving go carts. Before Moeller I attended Little Miami schools. Other than my friends here at MOE, most of my friends go to Little Miami high school.
What I have done at Moeller: To be honest, I have not been the most active student at Moeller. My freshman year I was in the fishing club and ran track. My sophomore year I did Shotput for the track team. My junior year I played rugby 7s. Rugby was by far my favorite time at Moeller. It was so fun learning a completely different sport and meeting a bunch of guys I had not really met yet. This year is my senior year; I plan to play rugby fifteens and get involved in things to support the underclassmen.
Favorite moment at Moeller and why: My favorite “Moment” at Moeller would be during fall of my junior year playing seven’s rugby. Rugby was a new thing for me, and I was super nervous at first but after a few practices I got used to the flow and everything about rugby. My first rugby match was something special. The adrenaline was rushing through my entire body and when that first whistle blew, I was so hyped to show myself everything I had learned leading to that moment. I played on C side with a bunch of other people that were new to rugby as well. But that did not matter because we went 3-0 in our first three matches. Playing rugby was most definitely my favorite “Moment” at Moeller.
Plans after Moeller: After I graduate, I plan to either take a gap year and work and travel or just jump right into college and get a business degree. After I get my degree, I am going to trade school, and I am going to try to get a job in trade. After a few years working for someone in the trades, I hope to start my own business in the trades. I either want to work in industrial HVAC or as an electrician. If the trade plan does not work out, then I am going to just follow my business degree and see where it takes me.
