Moeller's Director of Facilities, David Beiersdorfer, gave The Moeller Crusader an update on the cafeteria construction, saying it will be finished by October 1st.

Beiersdorfer, who is in his sixth year as the director, is the head representative for all of Moeller's construction projects, including "all planning, design, bidding, contracting, and overseeing construction schedules and cost."

He stated that the cafeteria construction will be completed October 1st, but may not be available for student use until the following week. That time will be used to fulfill Hamilton County Building Department’s series of inspections including, "plumbing, electrical, HVAC, life safety, health department, and final occupancy."

Mr. Beiersdorfer assured the Moeller Family, "It will be well worth the wait." One of the most apparent additions is the new cafeteria space, with brand new kitchen equipment. In addition to this brand new serving stations have been installed, allowing students to travel around the cafe and choose whatever food they want. There will also be "two major AV areas with built in projection systems for watching film, movies, etc. and six TVs mounted in the cafeteria for digital display." These new additions will be beneficial to sports teams, meetings, and different clubs.

The new space will also include a brand new ITC Help Desk, this will be similar to the one that is currently in the ITC/Library.

A new ITC Help Desk, this will be similar to the one that is currently in the ITC/Library. This will allow students "to get tech and laptop support in the cafeteria from now on." Mr. Gaier, Moeller’s Director of Technology stated that the new ITC will be similar to the current one, saying it will have "at least one, maybe two, technicians." He also said that the student copier will be moved into that area.
