Senior Awards

On May 2nd, 2025, Archbishop Moeller High School held the annual senior awards, recognizing seniors for their accomplishments during their time at the school. This is a special event for all seniors to be proud of their academic and athletic achievements and reflect on what they’ve accomplished during their four years at Moeller High School. Each department head presented awards to students who excelled in their respective subjects. Many proud parents and family members attended the event, proud of what their son has accomplished.

Awards such as the Distinguished Capstone Award, won by Will Bimonte, the Kairos Fourth Day Award, won by Thomas Scahill, and the Music Vocal Award, who was won by Joe Shick and William Holt. Furthermore, athletes that showed sportsmanship and resilience also got recognized for their achievements in their respective fields. The Archie Griffin Sportsmanship Award was given to Stosh Zielinski while Carl Jeffries and Roman Mason won the Courageous Student award.

While each award holds its own significance, the final three presented were especially meaningful, as they honored students who embody and represent the Moeller Community and its culture wherever they go.

These awards are The Chaminade Service Award, the Gold Shield Award, and the Man of Moeller. First, the Chaminade Service Award goes to a student who is involved intensely in their service, not just in school but outside of school as well. This award was presented to Max Milbourn. Next, the Gold Shield Award is presented to a student who has performed very well in the classroom and has shown dedication, integrity, and perseverance throughout their time at Moeller. This award was presented to David Antaki. The final award is the Man of Moeller. The Man of Moeller is highly considered the most prestigious award given out at the senior awards. This award is given to a student who embodies what it means to be a “Man of Moeller.” This individual serves as a role model not only to his peers but also to the community, leaving a lasting legacy of what it means to live out the Moeller mission. This award was presented to the school captain, Emmet Pease.

Together, these awards celebrate not only individual excellence, but also the values of the Moeller community, inspiring all students to carry these ideals forward in their own lives. Congratulations to all who were recognized and received an award for their academic and athletic achievements!
