Moeller Rugby

The Moeller Rugby Team took their talents to Nashville Tennessee over the weekend to compete with teams from all over the Midwest.

This year’s team is unexperienced but is bursting with potential for the road ahead.  The team has a new head coach who has been on staff in prior years. Having a very experienced coaching staff that knows the game is something that Moeller takes a lot of pride in. The way coaches come together to make the new players understand the game faster makes this team very special. The rookies in this program say that it has been a blessing being a part of a team that knows so much about the sport and can well explain each aspect of the game. Players on this team talk very highly of the coaching staff.

Moeller Rugby is a big name in this sport in the Midwest. They compete with top teams in the country, like St. Ignatius from Cleveland. This year, the team is chasing something bigger than wins: the state championship. It’s very doable with the roster they have this year, and anyone is lucky to be a part of this run. When this team is put up against top ranked teams, they show up. They have many leaders on this team who come ready to play and a coaching staff who wants the team to succeed in every way possible. Not only will Moeller run every team in Cincinnati, but they can also run the Midwest. Is this a ring year? Could they bring home the prize? If it was anyone’s year, it would be the Crusaders.

Leadership is a big part of teams that want to win. This team is filled with great leaders who really want the best for this program. The lineup is filled with athletes who can run the show this year. Rookie Adam James Creeden says that team lacks heavily in absolutely nothing. This is the scariest team anyone could be going up against and teams should fear them when they see Moeller on their schedule. With an athletic roster, a well-coached team, and a leading senior class wanting the best out of this team, this team is scary. A well thought of program through the past years and high expectations for this year. Can they live up the hype?
