Moeller Football Players in College
The Moeller football program has been a tunnel for successful college football players since the program was founded. Every year, Moeller has many athletes who commit to playing football at a variety of colleges across the country. These players often succeed in college because of the strong work ethic they develop at Moeller.
In the Class of 2026, Moeller has several notable commits, including Matt Ponatoski (Kentucky), Cooper McCutchan (North Carolina), and Sam Hamilton (West Virginia).
The most notable college athlete from Moeller right now is Jordan Marshall, a running back for the University of Michigan. He currently starts for Michigan and has 99 carries for 544 yards, 5 touchdowns, and an average of 5.5 yards per carry. He has been a critical part of Michigan’s run-heavy offense, proving to be one of the best backs in college football. Jordan recently had his most impressive game of the season against Purdue, where he ran for 210 yards, 3 touchdowns, and earned Big Ten Player of the Week.
On the defensive side, Moeller has also produced standout players such as Karson Hobbs, a four-star recruit who originally committed to South Carolina before flipping his commitment to Notre Dame. This season, he has 1 interception and 7 tackles. He has been a starter for the Notre Dame defense and has made a major impact on the field.

Freshman Jonah Hayes, who plays for Northwestern, has not seen much playing time this year, but the Wildcats’ defense is expected to utilize him more next season. Another player making noise in college football is junior Tennel Bryant, who plays for South Dakota. He has 7 receptions for 132 yards this season. During his time at Moeller, Tennel used his speed running a 4.38-second 40-yard dash to beat defenders.
Moeller also has three players competing for Ashland University: Collin Remenowsky, Will Adkins, and Jovan Love. Collin plays fullback and, in 2024, recorded 52 yards on eight carries. Will and Jovan are both freshmen this year, currently working their way up the depth chart. Brandon Martin, who plays for the Dayton Flyers, has 6 tackles and 1 sack this season and is a key part of the defensive line.
