40th Annual Sports Stag is Here Featuring Dick Vermeil!
The 40th annual Moeller Sports Stag will take place on March 22 and will be held in the Brisben Center gym from 5:00 to 10:00 pm.
The Sports Stag is an event hosted with food and beverages alongside entertainment and socializing. Pre-speech activities will begin at 5:00 with happy hour followed by a buffet dinner at 6:00. The program will start at 7:00. A single VIP ticket will cost $175, and a single young alumni ticket will be $150. Reserving group seating is also available. Moeller will be celebrating with Dick vermeil, NFL Hall of Fame inductee, as the featured speaker.
Dick Vermeil is a retired NFL Hall of Fame head coach. Vermeil coached for the Philadelphia Eagles (7 years,) St. Louis Rams (3 year,) and the Kansas City Chiefs (5 years.) He has 1 Super Bowl victory, 3 division titles, and a record of 126-114. In August 2022, he was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton. He also helped in the independence Blue Cross and promoting Covid vaccines during the time of crisis.
Moeller Football Head Coach, Mr. Bert Bathiany tweeted, “1st Official Day on the job and got to hang out with a HOF’er. Coach Vermeil is in the house! Can’t wait to hear him speak this week.”
All are extremely excited to have Dick Vermeil as their speaker this week to share his knowledge and motivation with the Moeller community. Moeller alumni are looking forward to seeing old friends, hearing a great speech, and promoting the Moeller alumni community in providing tuition assistance.
