The Crusader spoke with Wattenhofer to get more information about his Moeller experience so far.

The Crusader: How has your experience been at Moeller the past two years?

Wattenhofer: It was the best school experience that I’ve had so far. I thought high school was going to be a lot more work and harder because that’s what everyone in grade school said, but when I came here to Moeller, I have had a great experience. I’m so glad I got to come here and learn. The brotherhood is awesome, and it makes all the difference.

The Crusader: What made you choose Moeller?

Wattenhofer: When I was shadowing, I really liked how the classes were set up and how the block schedule was structured, and that’s what made my decision. Having the block schedule where we have A days and B days really helps out with getting my schoolwork done, and it teaches you time management on how to get things done in a certain time frame.

The Crusader: What would you like to accomplish in the next two years at Moeller?

Wattenhofer: My main goal is to obtain good grades and pass all my classes, that way I won’t have to stay for M-Block junior year. Other than that, I would like to continue doing well in school and continue being the person I am.

The Crusader: What are some goals for the next upcoming school year?

Wattenhofer: I would like to get first honors every semester and also take some AP classes, that way I can get a different experience. Since it will be harder, I will also learn some time management skills from it. Learning these different skills will help me later on in life and in college when you have a lot going on and you have to prioritize what needs to be done first. If you get good at those skills, then you will be a lot better off in life. One other goal is I plan on getting a perfect attendance record to show that I can be at school every day.

Moeller wishes Wattenhofer a successful career here and after high school. Thank you, Daniel, for sharing your experience about Moeller so far and for taking the time to talk with The Crusader!
