The Moeller Soccer team is off to a great start to the season with a (3-2-2) record so far. They are ranked 20th in the nation according to Max Preps and #1 in the city.

I sat down with Logan Peters, a four-year varsity player, and asked him a few questions about his season. Logan was a swing player his freshman year, meaning he played both Varsity and JV. I asked Logan about experience he has had during his four years on the varsity team. He explained how he believes both him and his teammate Trevor Morrison have the most experience with the program as Trevor is a four-year varsity player as well.

Logan Believes the Moeller soccer team could possibly be a “state caliber team” this year as he explains how much talent the Moeller Soccer team truly has. He says they need to “play for each other” to achieve the goals they have set prior to the season.

Logan’s senior season is his most important one. Logan says he wants to, “Play every game like it’s my last and have no regrets when it is all over.” Logan’s personal goal is to, “Secure a ring, and win GCL for my last season.”

I asked Logan about how he feels about the 1-1 tie against St Xavier on September 14th. Logan explained how it was a very close game, saying, “It could have gone either way.” Logan explained how he was called for obstruction in the final minutes of the game, which called back Moeller’s second goal to win the game.
