Pre-Season Look into Moeller Lacrosse

With an unfortunate end to last year's season, Moeller Lacrosse looks to become the dominating force this year. As the team graduated around twenty seniors from the 2022 class, it has fresh talent seeing time on the field. However, there are still several returning players to keep your eye on such as Tommy Stines (Sr), Joe Ginnetti (Sr), Joel Brown (Sr), Brennan Hickey (Jr), Alec Weeder (Sr) and many other extremely talented players.

Best of all Stines, Brown, and Hickey have all committed to playing lacrosse at the collegiate level. Ginnetti has committed to play football and Weeder has received multiple offers.

Moeller Lacrosse is led by Head Coach Mark Lynch, who is a Moeller class of 1997 graduate. He is returning for his second season as the head coach of Moeller's Lacrosse program, but he has also coached Lacrosse at schools such as Milford and CHCA.

Taking a look at the Schedule for this upcoming season, Moeller lacrosse has a challenging schedule which they will be ready to play through! This includes Culver Military Academy, WRA (Western Reserve Academy), St. X, Springboro, and Dublin Jerome among other strong lacrosse programs. When talking to current junior Angus Ellis, he mentioned the preparation and the attitude the team has toward the season which is right around the corner. “The whole team is extremely excited for this season. We all know we have a serious chance of winning this year, and we are working hard to prepare ourselves for the season”. With this remark, the Moeller community can expect to hear about the Lacrosse team this season. Be prepared to go out and support the boys!

Expect to see this Moeller Lacrosse team to be out for blood this season. Thank you all for your time reading this article, updates are to come later on LetsGoBigMoe.
