Modern Warfare 2 (2022) Review

Ghost - Character in the Modern Warfare

Call of Duty has been a very popular game franchise ever since it hit stores. The Modern Warfare 2 release has been long awaited and fans have been eager to play.

Call of Duty is a first-person shooter video game franchise that started publishing video games in 2003. They make series of video games relating to World War 1 and 2 and the Cold War. They also create other games with futuristic worlds and outer space settings. As of 2021, the series has sold over four-hundred-million copies and is considered the best-selling first-person shooter game series according Guinness World Records.

The Modern Warfare sub-series first came out in 2007 and has included Modern Warfare 1, 2, 3, 4, along with and a couple other remakes and versions published in the past fifteen years. In 2019, there was a reboot with the original Modern Warfare. On October 28th, the new version of Modern Warfare 2 was released, and it has been very popular. It’s only been about three weeks since it came out, and it is already one of the most popular games.

A lot of kids around Moeller have been talking about and playing this new version. Carson Titis said, “Me personally, I never really was hooked on the 2019 version, and from everything I heard about it, it is nowhere close to as good as the newest version.” Titus went on to say, “The game runs a lot smoother and is more fast-paced,” which is really good for the game and makes people talk about the game even more. He also said that “there are a lot of free skins you can get” which is “really cool.”

The last thing he talked about was which map he liked the best. Titis said, “There are a lot of new good maps on this game, but a lot of them aren’t that great.” The best one to him “is probably Farm-18 because there are a lot of long-range stuff on the outside and in the middle. There’s a lot of close quarter buildings” which is basically “built like a maze.”

The new Modern Warfare 2 is definitely a video game you should try and play. It won’t disappoint you.
