Moe Bowling Receives Outstanding Support

The Crusader Bowling Team faced the Elder Panthers Thursday night, November 30th. Unfortunately, the Crusaders did not come out on top, ending with a final score of 2922 over 2545.

Even though this second game of Moeller Bowling’s season was not a win, there was an amazing amount of support from the Moeller student body. This game served as a house spirit event, attracting a remarkable attendance of over 50 students rooting on the team.

Calvary leader Dom Schutte said that the spirit event was a huge success. “We all had a blast at the game. Even though our guys didn’t come out on top, we still stuck by them, and the players loved it. The atmosphere was electric.”

Moeller Bowler Max Rudie confirmed that the team truly appreciated the great turnout saying, “Not many people attend bowling, so having the enthusiasm and joy of our fellow students really sparked energy in our players.”

Moeller Bowling did win their first game against Kings High School with a score of 2357 over 2129. On Thursday, December 7th, the team faced St. Xavier in their third game. While the Crusaders made a valiant effort, they fell short with Xavier scoring 2816 over Moeller’s 2499.

The team will play again on Sunday, December 10th in the Holiday Classic at Western Bowl. Good luck!!
