Christmas on Campus

Christmas on Campus is an annual Moeller event that gets everyone in the holiday spirit! It is being held on Friday, December 8th to coincide with our Mass celebrating the Immaculate Conception.

Christmas on Campus brings students from Corryville Catholic to the Moeller campus. The Corryville students celebrate Mass with the school as a whole and then enjoy a Christmas extravaganza that includes meeting Santa, eating great food, and playing lots of games. The Corryville students range from preschool to the sixth grade.

The day will start with kids from first grade to sixth grade attending Mass. After that, the students are split into smaller groups to enjoy different activities. Some kids go bowling, while others visit Santa.

Christmas on Campus is connected to Moeller’s Little Buddies program, which pairs juniors and seniors with students at Corryville. The Moeller students visit their “little buddies” once or twice a month, so it is a big deal for these students to get to see their Moeller buddies in their high school environment. Members of the Little Buddies program also pick out a special gift for the Corryville student to open from Santa.

One of the things the kids love best are the games held in the Activity Center. The games are set up in a carnival-like atmosphere with small prizes like candy. The games are run by Moeller students outside of the Little Buddies program, freeing up the Moeller mentors to spend time with their mentees.

Overall, this is a great event for both Moeller and Corryville students. You get to hang out with some great kids and have a good time in anticipation of Christmas!
