Moeller's Spring Musical Is Right Around The Corner
Moeller’s spring musical Something’s Afoot is right around the corner, and the excitement is building. The show—a hilarious “whodunit”— has been months in the making, with the cast putting in many hours of rehearsal after school to make this show great.
As opening night approaches, the cast is gearing up for their final dress rehearsal this week. This dress rehearsal is very important, as it lets the actors try out their costumes, test out their props, and run through the show from start to finish. Something’s Afoot is a murder mystery with a comedic twist. Set somewhere in England in the 1930s, the story follows a group of characters who find themselves trapped in an estate by a sudden storm. As they try to solve the mystery of who the murderer is, there are many unexpected plot twists.
The cast is made up of very talented actors, with four of them coming from different schools such as Ursuline and Fenwick. They’ve been working very hard to perfect their performances and bring the characters to life. This musical has so many catchy tunes that they’ll be stuck in your head for weeks. As the dress rehearsal approaches, the cast is feeling both nervous and excited. This is the moment they have been waiting for, where all their hard work will come together for the first time. The stage and tech crew is also feeling the pressure, making sure everything is perfect for opening night.
Mark your calendars and get ready to be entertained, as Something’s Afoot hits the stage at Moeller next week. With a talented cast, a hilarious script, and catchy tunes, this is going to be to be a musical you won't want to miss.
