Spring Break Tales

During the first week of April, Moeller went on spring break—a time every student anxiously awaits. It’s a week away from school for some and a vacation away from the daily grind for others.

This year, Moeller’s spring break did not see the best weather in Cincinnati, but some people missed it by traveling during their week off. The Crusader talked to Sterling Segal and asked him how he spent his spring break.

Segal traveled to Cabo, Mexico during spring break with a group of friends. The group included Moeller students Bradley Poppel, Mason Cooper, Jack Welage, Maddox Miller, and Brevin Shinkle. Segal spent about six hours in the air, connecting in Dallas before finally arriving in Cabo.

Though the flight was long, Sterling said that Cabo was well worth it with lots to offer, including great restaurants. Segal said he enjoyed the buffets the most because of the variety of food they had. He went to one just about every day and ate a lot of pasta.  Still, for Segal as for many, the best part of the vacation was hanging with friends. The thing he and his friends enjoyed most was jet skiing on the ocean. After talking to Segal, he said that it was one of his favorite vacations and wished he could go back.

The Crusader also talked with Bradley Poppel, who said, “It was a great week to get closer with my friends and spend quality time with them before college.”

With the end of the year nearing, many students are anticipating leaving for separate locations in college. I personally enjoyed being able to spend a week of vacation with my friends and hangout before we all have to go in various directions.
