The Moeller Experience
Friday night lights, long-lasting friendships, unforgettable memories—the four years of high school for some students are more than just grades, tests, homework, and stress. High school is the time of our lives when moments can shape who we become. What is the difference between a regular high school and the Moeller High School experience?
As a senior, the past three years have flown by. It feels like yesterday I was just walking into the front doors at Moeller, scared as the seniors greeted me. Flash forward to this year, I got to greet my brother at the front door as a senior. I don’t know where the time has gone. As for myself and many other seniors at Moeller, I’m sure they would tell you that these past four years have been the best times of our lives. As a class, we have grown academically, physically, and personally throughout our time here. We all have close connections to each other and can depend on each other.
Andrew Bellman states, “These past three years have formed me into a different person and have set me up for success.” Andrew Bellman is a senior at Moeller, and I asked him some questions about his time here. One important question I asked was what makes Moeller different from any other high schools in the country. He responded, “Archbishop Moeller High School is the best high school in the country. The brotherhood that is formed after the four years is unmatchable. The house system here implements the brotherhood into the school and makes sure that everyone is involved as one big community.”
As senior year continues, Moeller has ingrained in us brotherhood, friendships, and memories that will carry on beyond graduation. Beyond grades and sports, Moeller has become something greater for us all. The Moeller experience has truly been one of a kind.
