GodSpell
In the Musical GodSpell it takes place in a teen’s home where he is throwing a party and a pizza delivery guy “Jesus” comes in and starts telling parables in many different ways such as songs and games. The cast of Godspell consists of Moeller and MND students with some of the familiar faces from Moeller being Race Grinder and Patrick Laufersweiler. Moeller and MND have done plays in the past and one of the teachers at Moeller actually helps run it and that teacher is Mr. Kindt who has helped out at both Moeller and MND’s variety of plays. Godspell is the last show that MND is doing for this year. The show is sponsored by a Youtube started Pizza restaurant that you can buy some during intermission. Godspell also has aspects of suicide and after the show they let out an announcement that you are not alone and if you need to call someone call 988. Overall, this show is a touching musical that makes connections to this time and it really gives a different point of view on the bible. The MND and Moeller cast has done a really good job at building the set and also acting in the show as it seems very well put together and seems like they have spent a lot of time working on it. As the play is going on they have a live band that plays their music for the show. This show plays very well into today’s time and I feel like a lot of teens can connect to it so in my opinion everyone should go see it.
