Moeller Prom
Moeller had their annual prom a few weeks ago at the Manor House in Mason. It was a great experience and very well set up, providing a night of fun for everyone who was included. Moeller’s prom is for Juniors and Seniors who bring dates for a few hours of fun. Often you go in groups with your friends, but some people just choose to go one on one with their dates. It is also just a great excuse to get dressed up and feel good about yourself. Some of the unique features at Moeller’s prom were Shirley temples, a candy bar, and poker. Poker seemed to be a very popular idea throughout the night, as the tables were always stacked with people playing. It was a very high-energy night. A great DJ that was playing notable hit after hit and a very large crowd was consistently on the dance floor. There wasn’t more than a few seconds where people were not dancing or jumping in crowds or having dance circles. Joey Shick was the man nominated for the dance circle, dominating his competition. Jordan Brown also hit the big stage singing a few songs and getting the crowd a little bit more hyped. It is also one of very few times that you get to talk to and see teachers in an environment that makes them feel more like friends then your day to day teacher. Prom is reviewed by many peers as one of the best experiences they have at Moeller and something that should truly be appreciated. Overall, Moeller’s prom is an amazing experience that I truly believe everybody should experience at least once before they graduate.
