Sage: Overrated Or Underrated?

I think we all have our own opinion on our partner’s sage, but do we put too much hate on them? Sage was first implemented in the 2021-2022 school year and people were extremely excited about what was to come. For the first couple of months, all students had to eat lunch in the AC. All the students were then introduced to the brand-new lunchroom. Sage started off hot with a couple of good meals, chocolate milk and dessert. The best thing about this was that it was all you could eat. People couldn’t wait for lunch because sage couldn’t miss.

After a couple months, people’s opinions started to change. A plate of food would take almost 6-8 minutes to get. If you had 3rd or 4th lunch you wouldn’t have any chocolate milk because they ran out. Some of the food options weren’t the best leaving some students to not eat anything at lunch. Students were not happy, and they wanted things to change.

So, with the start of the 2024-2025 school year people were ready for something to change. You can tell things are different this year in the way they have structured things and have made everything ten times faster. The food this year is also much better compared to years prior. If you think sage is bad, just remember they must make food for over 1,000 people every single day. Sage does their best to make food that everyone will enjoy. Making all that food can most definitely be stressful and if we took time out of our days to say thank you, they would most definitely appreciate it. I think If we all took a step back to look at what sage is doing right now, we would realize we are extremely blessed to have them as our partner. So going off what Sage is doing right now, I’d say they are severely underrated.
