Ohio offers numerous high-quality soccer fields utilized by high school and club teams. Here are ten notable venues, each offering quality features that enhance the soccer experience:

10. Riverside Park (Cincinnati)

Riverside Park offers turf soccer fields that are ideal for high school matches. The quality of the playing surface and the park's amenities contribute to its popularity among local soccer teams. Like some of the other fields, this holds a special spot in my heart because I remember playing some of my first tournament games there.  

9. Miami Meadows Park (Milford)

This park features multiple soccer fields suitable for high school competitions. Its spacious layout and well-kept grounds provide an excellent environment for both players and spectators. Because I live in Milford, I had to include this park on the list because I remember my first time playing soccer was there. I always grew up playing there. My favorite memory of all was the dog days tournament, in the midst of the brutal summer heat.

8. Clear Creek Park (Cincinnati)

Clear Creek Park provides well-maintained soccer fields that are frequently used for high school matches. Its accessible location and quality facilities make it a favored venue for local teams. This may be my favorite place on the list, yet it sometimes lacks the quality of field. This would be my favorite because it is along the bike trail, and I remember biking there with my family and playing soccer.

7. Serpentini Chevrolet Stadium (North Royalton)

This stadium offers high-quality soccer facilities, including well-kept fields and spectator seating. Its modern amenities make it a preferred venue for high school soccer games.  

6. Memorial Park (North Royalton)

Memorial Park features multiple soccer fields that are regularly used for high school matches and tournaments. The park's convenient location and ample parking make it a popular choice for local soccer events. These fields were always fun to play at, especially with the annual tournament they held each year.

5. Blossom Hill Soccer Complex (Brecksville)

This complex offers well-maintained fields suitable for high school competitions. Its amenities cater to both players and spectators, providing a comfortable environment for soccer events.

4. Krenzler Field (Cleveland)

Located at Cleveland State University, Krenzler Field is known for its intimate setting and quality turf. It serves as the home ground for the university's men's and women's soccer teams, offering seating for 1,680 spectators. The field's professional-grade facilities provide an excellent environment for high school soccer matches.

3. TFA Harrison Soccer Complex (West Harrison, IN)

Situated near the Ohio-Indiana border, the TFA Harrison Soccer Complex serves teams from both states. The facility includes multiple game and training fields of varying sizes to accommodate different age groups and competition levels. Its strategic location and comprehensive amenities make it a favored choice for high school soccer events. This field is nostalgic for most ballers due to the numerous numbers of rivalries that TFA had.

2. John Ankeney Soccer Complex (Beavercreek)

This expansive 80+ acre complex is home to the Beavercreek Soccer Association and supports matches for both recreational and competitive teams. It boasts irrigated fields, parking for over 1,200 cars, multiple concession stands, and an outdoor covered picnic pavilion. The complex has hosted numerous statewide, regional, and national tournaments, underscoring its status as a premier soccer venue. Almost every kid in the state of Ohio has probably played here. Hosting significant tournaments like the Beavercreek classic, I remember there being hundreds of teams attending.

1. Jay Martin Soccer Complex (Delaware)

Located at Ohio Wesleyan University, the Jay Martin Soccer Complex is widely regarded as one of the Midwest's finest soccer facilities. It features a lighted game field, fully enclosed press box, aluminum bleacher seating, locker rooms, and practice fields that can accommodate multiple teams simultaneously. This complex holds a special spot in my heart because that is where we advanced into regionals, after being down 2-0. We came back withing the last 10 minutes scoring 3 goals—two off corner kick—and one penalty.

Each of these venues plays a vital role in supporting high school soccer in Ohio, providing excellent facilities that foster the development of young athletes and enhance the overall soccer experience.
