Parker Cianciolo

Hello, my name is Parker Cianciolo, I had a brain injury at the age of nine. When I had my brain injury I had to relearn basic things like walking and talking it made me have to go to therapy to relearn many things. In my spare time, I love to play games and I like collecting rocks, Pokémon cards, and sticks. I am a huge Pokémon nerd and I love collecting and playing the video games related to the newer generation. I enjoy watching movies, and Spiderman is my favorite to watch.  I enjoy reading fantasy non-fiction books that include Percy Jackson and the Unwanted series. I like to torment my family in the game Quirkle, which is a fun board game where you match colors and shapes. My family gets really into the game and I enjoy watching them lose.

I am hoping I have a good rest of my senior year and I feel pretty good about my second semester classes. I think the classes will challenge me and keep me motivated to get good grades. I am hoping I get 90 or above in all my classes. I think it will be a good year for me once I get used to being back after the long break. I am looking forward to continuing to participate in Dungeons and Dragons and the Magic: The Gathering clubs this semester.

After high school I want to go to college to get a teaching degree for special education. I want to be a special education teacher, but I also want to get a history teaching degree so I can teach a few history classes. I am very into mythology and I think I would be good at teaching students about that genre. I am really into ancient Egypt, Rome and Greece, I am also huge into their mythology. I would like to work in a Norwood school.
