Jackson Patterson
Hi, my name is Jackson Patterson. I am currently a senior at Moeller. I was born into the Moeller family back on July 5, 2007. My dad, Matt Patterson 98’ went to Moeller along with his two brothers. My grandmother also worked in the main office and the library, so I have known where I was going ever since I knew about Moeller. I went to St. Susanna for grade school and played sports such as basketball, swimming and football. I have two siblings; a brother who attends St. Susanna and a sister who attends Ursuline. After graduating St. Susanna I quit basketball and football to focus on my swimming career. Swimming is what I spend most of my time since the club season is all year-round. My club team is the Mason Manta Rays which is where I train even throughout high school season.
I have loved my time at Moeller so far. Most of my time is occupied by swimming but I have stepped out of my comfort zone this year to take on some leadership positions such as Mentor Group Captain for Mr. DiCristiforo and Swim Team Captain. I am a four-year Varsity swimmer. I have qualified for the OHSAA State Championship meet for the past 2 years while receiving All-Ohio as a Junior on the 400 Freestyle Relay. I enjoy all the guys on the swim team and am excited for the State run this year in February.
I am looking forward to the last semester as a Crusader although it is sad that my time as a high schooler is coming to an end. I am excited for the upcoming opportunities after high school in college. I plan to swim collegiately but am undecided on where I would like to spend the next 4 years. I plan to major in either Business or Finance. Overall, I have loved all the moments I have shared with my brothers here at Moeller.
