Kingston Land

Hello, my name is Kingston Land. I am a senior this year attending Moeller high school. I’m 18 years old, born June 28th, 2006. I’m the 2nd oldest out of 5. 1 older brother and 1 younger with 2 younger sisters. Our family has seen a lot of ups and downs but that never pulls us apart. Coming from divorced parents was a new role I had to step up to when being able to help around the house. We have always been a big sports family. Always going to different sports events and seeking our goal of being great. There have been many lessons in my life that I have learned from the love of the game, and the difficulty to stay true is very hard when you are at your low.

Over my years into Moller, finishing up my last there have been many accomplishments. When I first came into Moeller I was blessed to be apart of the Varsity basketball team. I was able to play against great competition every single day to get myself better. Leading to my sophomore year I was a varsity starter after suffering a fracture in my wrist. My junior year I had another injury. I was out 6 months with a stress fracture in my back and we ended up losing in the regional finals that would send us to state. Going into the summer of my senior year I tore a ligament in AAU basketball. That has had me out to this day. 7 months. I am now awaiting my senior year hoping for the best in myself and in the team that I can come back stronger than before. Leading up to this year all of these injuries have taken a huge tole on my career of hoops in high school. But has taught me better lessons in life to live it in fullest.

For my future after Moeller is going to Terre Haute, Indiana to attend Indiana state to continue my love for Basketball. I’ve been blessed to receive a full ride.
