Patrick (PJ) Morman

My name is Patrick Morman, but I prefer to go by PJ. I am seventeen and I am a part of Archbishop Moeller’s senior class. My mom is from St. Louis and my Dad is from Marion, all three of their kids were born in Cincinnati. My sister is currently at UD studying to be an electrical engineer, and my brother is a freshman at Moeller alongside me. I’m looking forward to college, as I’m studying to become a professional pilot. With enough effort and a bit of luck, I’ll get my dream job out west with search and rescue.

I came to Moeller because it was cheaper than X and my mom was able to drop me off on her way to work. That doesn’t mean I disliked the choice, but I had my heart set on something else. However, my four years at Moeller were the best years of my life and I’m so glad my parents took control of my high school choice. I’m a in the band, a few clubs, and I’ve made more friends than I probably would have at X.

Looking into the next few months, I’m nervous but excited about my second-round applications for the flight schools. I’ve already been accepted into the colleges I applied to along with receiving some scholarship information, but if I don’t make it into the flight school then I can’t take the professional pilot major. I’m sure I’ll do well with my credentials as an Eagle Scout, but the thrill of uncertainty still remains.
