Michael Gulbransen

My name is Michael Gulbransen, and I am from San Diego California with a family of five. I have been moving around since I can remember always bouncing around different states like Kansas and Nevada. Moving around so much has allowed me to gain different perspectives lots of people do not have. Currently I play on the JV Super Smash Bros esports team as the team’s captain and used to play 15s Rugby which I intend on playing again this spring. I also greatly enjoy watching sports like football and hockey where my favorite teams are the Raiders and the Golden Knights.

Currently my senior year looks great. I took classes that allowed me to further my general education while balancing it with my theological life and enjoyment with entertaining classes. As JV esports captain I plan to try and lead our team to regionals while continuing the sport after I leave by encouraging our younger players. I am currently employed at Culver’s as a Crew Chief, which will allow me to grow as a leader as well. In addition, I also plan to make more friends at Moeller and spread the brotherhood. I also plan to study further into the medical field because I find it very interesting and it is the career I want to pursue in the future.

My plans for my future are to go to college for nursing. While I do not know quite where I intend on going, I know that I will perform well and go into the nursing career to help every person I can. In addition, I am also going on a WWII trip over the summer which will hopefully allow me to grow in knowledge of culture outside the US and expand my knowledge of history. I also plan to stay in the Cincinnati area throughout my future however I do not know what the future holds for me.
