Benjamin Nordin

My name is Benjamin Nordin, and I come from a family of 5 with 2 older sisters.  Before Moeller I was a student at sycamore which is where I went all my life. Throughout my time there I played lots of sports like football, basketball, lacrosse, swimming, and baseball. While I was young I wanted to start my own business.  I experimented with a lot of different business ideas but decided to start a lawn mowing business and at one time had about 10 clients weekly. 

But at Moeller more than sycamore, I think I have accomplished a lot more then I did at sycamore.  For starters I grew about a foot, gained about 70 pounds, matured a lot, and made a couple of new friends along the way.  At Moeller more then sycamore the people here try and guide you through your high school days because they all want you to succeed at a higher level.  In my senor year here I have looked back and seen how different I am not both physically and mentally and seen that this is probably the most I have ever changed in 3 years in my whole life.

My favorite memory from Moeller is when at the beginning of junior year I was invited to go play basketball with a couple people and I went.  And then we went the next day, and the next, and so on.  And we are still going even today and the people who were their the first day have become some of my best friends.

My future plans are to attend The OSU.  I want to major in finance and then go to work at Duke Energy. I want to be a line man and go out and work on all of the broken poles and put in new ones.
