Jacob Gath

I was born in Columbus and lived in Dublin until age five, when I moved to Blue Ash for my mother’s job. I attended Sycamore Schools from kindergarten through eighth grade. During that time, I traveled to Europe twice and played a lot of golf and baseball, along with some basketball—until my dad put an end to that after I broke a finger for the third time.

At Moeller, I have been involved in several clubs, including pickleball, photography, finance, and the sports card club. I am also a member of the student-run business, where I serve as Chief Design Officer. In this role, I approve all shirt designs and ensure they align with our brand. Additionally, I serve on the Hub Advisory Committee, where I provide student input on Hub classes and help suggest new offerings.

My favorite Moeller memory is the New Mexico service trip. I had an incredible experience learning about the Navajo Nation, delivering water, and bonding with my Moeller brothers. Sleeping under the freezing cold stars while helping others made the trip unforgettable.

After Moeller, I plan to attend Butler University in Indianapolis, where I intend to double major in International Business and Economics with a minor in Creative Media. I also plan to continue pursuing my passion for photography at Butler. After graduating, I hope to enter the workforce, save money, and eventually earn my MBA.
