I started grade school off at St. Nicholas Academy in Reading. I went there from kindergarten through the fifth grade when it closed. After that, I went to St. Michael in Sharonville for sixth through eighth grade. I’ve swam for the Evendale Eagles since I was 4 and will through this summer. I played baseball through fifth grade when I hurt my throwing arm. I played basketball through eighth grade, played volleyball in seventh and eighth grade, and started swimming club in eighth grade. I started in Boy Scout Troop 598 when I was in fifth grade and recently aged out.

At Moeller I’ve been a four year member of the swimming team, been involved in the 3d printing club, and participated in the Little Buddies program. I’m also my mentor group captain this year. Freshman year I was pretty bad at swimming and represented the team at the Fred Cooper Invitational which is pretty much just a junior varsity level championship meet. Sophomore and Junior year I was a part of the sectional team, but unfortunately didn’t advance to the district meet. Most of the time I was active in the 3d printing club was my freshman and sophomore year since it runs during M-block and one of the upperclassmen in my mentor group ran it. Little Buddies has been fun the last two years.

My favorite Moeller memory is when I broke one minute in the 100 freestyle at Upper Arlington sophomore year. This is my favorite memory because I’d gone just above a minute like three times earlier in that season and went from 1:00 straight to 58. It was a long overdo drop and it was the milestone I had been working for. It also set my mentality right which set me up to drop another second at finals that night and another 2 through the rest of the season.

Next year I’ll be studying computer engineering and swimming for the club team at Ohio State. I plan to work more on the hardware side of computers than the software side just because it’s more hands on which is more my speed.
