Connor Bowman

When asked why he wakes up in the morning, he responds with a strong “To be better than everyone else”. That is the basis of who Connor Bowman is. Connor is known for many things. At 18 years old, he is a department lead at Kroger. He is equipped with many skills, especially outdoors. He has a unique taste and aptitude for hunting along with his ability to swing sticks, participating in baseball, hockey, and recreational golf.

Connor’s father, Doug, has heavily impacted Connor as a person. From creating the never-ending determination to do more, or his unquenchable thirst for success, Connor has one person to thank for that, who is his father. Throughout his life Connor has shown many characteristics which prove he is a product of his father’s inventory of skills.

Connor has many great characteristics, but 2 stick out, gregariousness and productiveness. As someone who leads a department filled with many different types of people, being friendly is key. Despite being a good thing, friendliness can sometimes cause unproductivity, which Connor is quick to fix when it gets out of hand.

Although one of his greatest aspects, Connor is much more than just a department lead. At 17, he led a basketball team to a championship while also juggling work. He was named team captain of his middle school basketball team, proving he is capable of success on and off the court.

As Connor grows, so do the people around him. While he is heavily focused on self-improvement and being the best, he is also helping others improve through things as small as the smile he carries every day.
