After graduating Moeller in '97, Mark Lynch is back at Moeller being as a teacher and head lacrosse coach. He has been a teacher and coach at CHCA for the past five years. Mr. Lynch discussed his past there, saying, "I came from CHCA, before that I was at Mason, and I was primarily teaching history courses."

In Mr. Lynch's first year at Moeller, he is really enjoying bonding with the team and getting to know everyone in the Moeller community. He went on to say, "I love being in the classroom and being in the locker room. The guys are very similar to when I was here in the 90's, it's easy to relate to them, and it's been a lot of fun."

At Moeller, Mr. Lynch teaches Accounting, as well as the two new classes of Business Operations and AP Microeconomics. Susan Bailey, the chair of the Business Department, discussed the importance of Mr. Lynch coming to Moeller, and helping add the new classes that we now have: "When Mr. Kolkmeyer retired, we switched the focus from the CAD and tech classes that he taught, to adding AP Microeconomics."

Mr. Lynch got into coaching and teaching after Mr. Shannon, who once told him that, "Coaching is teaching.'“ Mr. Lynch has since built a successful coaching career that started 18 years ago. Mr. Lynch’s presence can already be felt here at Moeller, according to one of his assistant coaches, Mr. Josh Wellen. Wellen, also an English teacher, reflected on the positivity that Lynch brings to the table: "There's already a marked difference between where we were last year and where we are now."

He’s focused on carrying on the tradition and legacy of Moeller Lacrosse. Lynch wants to make a program that is not only distinguished in Cincinnati and Ohio, but also one that is recognized on the national level.
