MOFOES WEEK 14: X WEEK PART 2

Join the Crusaders on Friday, 7:00pm at Mason High School as they take on the Bombers for the second time this season. Pulling in 7,000 attendees (stadium capacity), fans anxiously await kickoff in hopes of their team continuing their playoff run to Canton. Opportunely, the Crusaders have prepared this week strongly, making sure that everyone remains healthy so that they are firing on all cylinders when gameday arrives.

The record between the schools speaks for itself, as the Crusaders have continued to shame the Bombers for their struggling attempts to make football a rivalry sport. After securing yet another win to add to the 47-24 record the Crusaders have earned, this leaves fans wondering how strong Big Moe must be to continue this streak of 5 consecutive wins over St. Xaiver. Well, here are some stats from this season to explain why the Crusaders will once again force the Bombers to turn in their jerseys that following Monday:

·       Moeller went on to go undefeated in the GCL.

·       Matt Ponatoski passing yards – 3406yrds

St. Xaiver’s QB passing yards- 1452yrds

·       Moeller receivers, Matthew Fogler and Jovan Love both exceeded +700 receiving yards, while St. Xaiver doesn’t have a receiver on the leaderboard.

·        3/5 of players from Moeller are in the top 5 GCL standings for interceptions this season—Roman Mason (5), Chris Bradley (3), and Lincoln Murphy (3).

·       Moeller also has recorded more sacks—Christian Harris (6.5) and Jonah Hayes (6).

Overall, the anticipation for this game continues to grow, as the season is now on the line. The Crusaders continue to strive for excellence and show no plans of changing. Now it’s your turn to decide, how bad will the Crusaders beat the Bombers this Friday?

Thumbs down.
