Crusader: What drew you to Dayton?

Paul: The environment there is special. The people there were so welcoming, especially the coaches and players when I went on my visit. A lot of my friends are going to Dayton, and I will be coming out of college with a great education.

Crusader: How would you describe your recruiting journey? Was finding the right school difficult for you?

Paul: It was stressful at times; I just wanted to make sure I made the right decision, and I ended up doing that. I had a call from one school, and they told me they were no longer taking linebackers, so that kind of woke me up to move quickly. It wasn’t difficult once I went on my third visit to Dayton. I knew it was the right fit for me.

Crusader: What were the key things you were looking for in a school?

Paul: The things I was looking for in a school was a good atmosphere along with a great college experience.

The Crusader also talked with Noah Smith, who is going to Belmont Abbey College to play Lacrosse.

Crusader: What drew you to Belmont Abbey?

Smith: They are a high-level division 2 team, and going to Belmont will allow me to play with my older brother for a year.

Crusader: How would you describe your recruiting journey? Was finding the right school difficult for you?

Smith: No, it wasn’t too difficult. Both schools I was looking at were great. After taking a visit to both schools, the hardest part was ultimately deciding which school best fit me.

Crusader: What were some key things you were looking for in a school?

Smith: A good program that competes to win their conference every year. A good group of guys on the team. A good coaching staff. A campus I can see myself at for the next four years.

Moeller will hold one last signing day in April. Check your email for the finalized date.
