Underclassman Spotlight: Ryan Kreutz
The underclassman spotlight is a new segment in The Crusader aimed at highlighting the activities and achievements of Moeller’s freshmen and sophomores.
In this issue, The Crusader talked to Ryan Kreutz, a freshman who is super active in extracurriculars and sports. Kreutz is a freshmen house captain for Quiroga and is also on the varsity wrestling team, where he has shown great skill in his last few meets.
The Crusader spoke with Kreutz to get more information about the start of his Moeller experience.
Crusader: What has been your favorite part of Moeller so far?
Kreutz: So far my favorite part of going to Moeller has to be the brotherhood. I had heard about it before I came to Moeller, and now I understand what it is about. I have felt so welcomed and everyone here has been so nice.
Crusader: How does it feel to be freshman house captain?
Kreutz: It feels super good to be a freshman house captain. I really like being involved in the house system, and I think it is a cool part of Moeller.
Crusader: How is it to be on the varsity wrestling team as a freshman, and how have they welcomed you?
Kreutz: It is such a cool thing to be on the varsity team as a freshman, and the whole team has been so nice to me while I learn the lay of the land. I can’t wait for the next three years to see how I develop as an athlete.
Crusader: In your next three years, what do you want to accomplish?
Kreutz: I want to take on more leadership roles, and I want to grow in my faith too. I have a lot of time, so I am excited to see how much I can change.
Quiroga House Dean John Hough said, “Ryan has already shown he is an incredible leader, and I am excited to see where he ends up at Moeller in the next three years.”
We are glad you are at Moeller, Ryan, and wish you a successful career as a Crusader!
