Cincinnati Red’s 24-25 Season
The Cincinnati Reds have been off to a streaky start as they are barely staying over .500. There star play Elly De La Cruz has been off to a mediocre start but has maintained a 12 game hitting streak. De La Cruz has changed his swing this year to hit more balls on the ground and to use his speed to beat balls out. The new introduction of the Cleveland Guardians head coach Terry Francona to the reds has been giving fans a new perspective on the reds lineup. Seeing some new stars rise up in the order like Lux, Espinal, and Trevino as they have been the heart of the line up. Also, guys like Austin Wynns, and Jake Fraley continue to contribute to the Red’s lineup. The reds currently have 4 guys batting over .300 while only two of them are batting under .200. The Reds, Austin Wynns also tied the most amount of hits in a game with 6 hits in a blow out game against the orioles.
The Reds pitching has been exceptional as well as they have one of the best team era’s in the league. Star pitcher Hunter Greene has been nominated as the best pitcher in the MLB right now as he is on track for the cy young award. Brady Singer, traded from the royals has also been exceptional as he has 4 wins, proving himself to be a top pitcher in the rotation. The reds have also brought up the hardest thrower in the Minor leagues, Luis Mey, which he made his first appearance and did well. The Cincinnati Reds are on track for a great season, and looking to make another playoff appearance for Cincinnati. The Reds pitching staff mixed with the electricity in the offense is going to be hard to stop when they are hot. The new coaching staff is guiding the team in the right direction, and hoping for the first playoff win in a long time.
