Up and Coming Trinity Leaders

As we near the end of the school year it’s important to think about who will be leading the house next year. None are more important than our dean Mr. Hodges. Mr. Hodges has made a profound impact on house and school spirit in his first year as a dean. His passion for the house system and his investments in the house both in his time and his money haven’t gone unnoticed. I hope as we move into future years that Mr. Hodges can continue to form the young men of Trinity in the same way he has this year.

The next most important leaders we have next year are our House Captains and Chaplain. We have a strong group of junior leaders within the house. One of these being Andrew Stofko. Andrew was a captain of the football team last season and is a vocal and active leader in his mentor group and the house system. Another junior to look out for is Chris Laufersweiler. Chris is a member of my mentor group, and I’ve been seeing traits of a good leader in him for years. He is currently a member of the varsity singers and sang a solo at all school mass. He doesn’t lack courage and is willing to do whatever he can to help his house and community. I believe he could be a great captain or chaplain next year. Another guy to look out for is Carter Matthews. In Mr. Hodges’ words, “Carter shows maturity far beyond his years. He not only carries himself with humility, strength, and confidence, but inspires the same attributes in the countless Men of Moeller he interacts with every single day. He shows the courage to stand up for what’s right, the discipline to follow through on what he starts, and the resilience to keep going even when challenges arise.” We sure have a lot to look forward to on the leadership side of Trinity next year.
