Moeller Golf Season Recap

By Nick Kassiss

Moeller Golf finished its season strongly by placing second in the GCL, helping the team to advance to districts and placing sixth during really tough weather conditions. The team had to deal with heavy rain and winds, making it very difficult to perform to the best of their abilities.

Moeller golf has gone to many tournaments around Ohio to play very good competition; for example, the team attended the American/Italian Golf Classic, the Walker Jones Classic, and several other invitationals from St. Ignatius, St. Xavier, and Olentangy.

Moeller has stayed consistent when participating in tournaments, putting up good numbers and competing hard. Senior Kevin Quin believes that what makes Moeller golf stand out is that the team has very good chemistry and a strong sense of family throughout. The golf team regularly eats out at restaurants and spends time together outside of playing golf. They are all constantly trying to make each other better and hep to make sure that a teammate is never down.

When asked about the coming years, Quin said the junior and sophomore classes are looking very solid, even after graduating five seniors (listed under the picture). There will be many capable juniors and underclassmen stepping up to lead the team next year. The future of Moeller Golf is looking to be very bright.
