Player Spotlight: Drew Currin
The Moeller Football team is in the middle of a state run right now and is getting ready to play in the regional semifinals this weekend. They finished the regular season 6-4. To learn more about this football team, The Crusader talked to one of the offensive linemen, Drew Currin.
Currin attended All Saints for grade school where he was a multi-sport athlete playing football, basketball, and golf.
The Crusader: What have you guys done to get this far in the season?
Currin: There is a lot of team chemistry. Bonding in the locker room and getting to know each teammate plays a huge role. The execution from the team has been phenomenal.
The Crusader: What has been a core value that you have learned from Moeller Football?
Currin: To be grateful for where I go to school and the things that I do here.
The Crusader: What is your favorite memory of Moeller Football?
Currin: My favorite memory would have to be beating Lakota West last year in the regional finals with my brother John.
The Crusader: What are some of your hobbies outside of Football?
Currin: Outside of football, I like to play basketball with my friends. I also like to play Fortnite and other video games. Another thing I like to do is eat food.
The Crusader: How do you view your role on the team?
Currin: I view myself as a senior leader because being the only senior on the O-line, I feel like I need to step up and set a good example and attitude for the underclassman.
Currin will be attending the University of Dayton next year. A big thank you to Drew for taking the time to talk with us, and we wish the football team the best of luck as they continue their state run!
