Moeller Basketball Prepares for the Season
Moeller Basketball is ramping up and looking to have another exceptional season. The Crusaders had a great 22-23 season, ending 18-8, but unfortunately, they did not win the GCL. Princeton ended their season in the fourth round of the tournament last year, beating the Crusaders 36-57.
Last season, lots of the credit goes to the chemistry between players. The amount of time put into a season creates a bond that makes these players brothers. This chemistry will be a factor this season because there are so many returning athletes. Seniors A.J. McBride, Eric Mahaffey, Noah George, and Kyle Havens are the most notable players coming back this year, as they each played a significant role on the team last year. The Crusaders look to play some very promising basketball this season and aim to win the GCL and more.
Although the expectations are high, the team has to take it one game at a time. The players look to stay focused and bring energy to each game they play. This season relies much on what the players put in and get out of the program.
Head Coach Carl Kremer, who has been the head coach for 30 years, is sure to be a key factor for the Crusader’s success this season. Coach Kremer and his staff create great work ethic in their young men through their four core values. These values are arete, first class, toughness, and team attitude, which all help Moeller Basketball players strive for greatness on and off the court.
On December 1, the Crusaders start their season against Western Heights College Australia. The Crusaders look to dominate and kick off the season strong. Best of luck to Moeller Basketball as they prepare to begin their 23-24 season.
