This game is always one to watch; no matter how good either team is, it’s always going to be competitive. The next big game will be away on January 3rd against Olentangy Berlin, who knocked the Crusaders out of the Blue Jackets Cup after losing to the Crusaders four days before the rematch. One final big game this season is against Olentangy Liberty. Last year, the Crusaders lost 0-7. This year, the Crusaders look to take them down in their 8th game of the season.
Outlook for the Season
Jake Grote shared his personal outlook for the upcoming Crusader hockey season: “I’m really excited for the season. We’ve got an awesome group of guys, and I think we will be a team to watch out for.” The Crusaders are currently ranked 18th in the state based on how they finished their season last year, but they are driven and determined to change that. They aim to make a long run in the state tournament and win a state championship.
