Bengals vs. Chiefs

I know we’re still getting over the loss over the New England Patriots (hopefully), but 1 week of football can’t determine how good our Bengals can be. Although the Chiefs (who we play in week two) continue to have strong momentum and remain a tough opponent, if the Bengals live up to their reputation, it should be an interesting game. As they strap in and head to Kansas City, it’s just a matter of focus and energy to build up their momentum again. But the question is, will they beat the odds and gain a victory over the chiefs? Let’s find out.

In week 1, the Bengals suffered an excruciating loss against the Patriots with a final score of 16-10. Joe Burrow was heavily pressured by the Patriots leading to many sacks and incompletions. As well as this, the team having 2 fumbles was a crucial factor that led to the team’s loss. Additionally, Jamarr Chase and Chase Brown struggles to gain yards due to the Patriot’s sturdy defense. As the Chiefs go, they executed a win over the Ravens with a final score of 27-20. Rookie Xavier Worthy had a receiving touchdown as well as many receiving yards. Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce connected which as well was already expected by most people.

Based off these results, the Bengals have a lot to learn, and the Chiefs are still carrying their strong momentum from the last couple of years. Although the Chiefs are expected to win with a predicted 63.1% chance of winning, if the Bengals fix their mistakes and go into Kansas City with confidence, it should be a very interesting game. Let’s have faith in our team and pray that Joe Burrow will get the job done. Who Dey!
