Crusaders in College: Class of 2024 Standouts

The Moeller Crusaders’ Class of 2024 has produced an impressive group of athletes who are ready to make their mark at the Division 1 college level. Here’s a look at the eight standout players who have committed to top programs in the FBS and FCS levels:

  1. Karson HobbsDefensive Back at Notre Dame

    • 247 Sports Rating: 3 stars, 58th ranked cornerback nationally

    • High School Achievements: Hobbs was a key defensive player with high speed and team captain at Moeller, showing his leadership and skill.

  2. Drew RobinsonDefensive Back at Cincinnati

    • 247 Sports Rating: 2 stars, 295th ranked safety nationally

    • High School Achievements: Robinson led the GCL in interceptions and served as a team captain, making a significant impact on secondary.

  3. Eli Jacon-DuffyTight End at Bowling Green State

    • 247 Sports Rating: 3 stars. 123rd ranked tight end nationally

    • High School Achievements:, Jacon-Duffy played both tight end, and sometimes lining up at fullback, being a dynamic player for the offense and a team captain.

  4. Jewett HayesDefensive End at Virginia

    • 247 Sports Rating: 3 stars, 76th edge rusher nationally

    • High School Achievements: Hayes co-led the GCL in sacks, he was a dominant force in the run and pass rush.

  5. Jordan MarshallRunning Back at Michigan

    • 247 Sports Rating: 4 stars, 4th ranked running back nationally

    • High School Achievements: Marshall broke multiple records at Moeller and led the Crusaders to three consecutive state final fours. A three-year varsity starter and two-year captain, his impact was profound and he will do great things at Michigan.

  6. Devin OrrKicker at Eastern Kentucky

    • Chris Sailer Kicking Rating: 5 stars, 54th ranked kicker nationally

    • High School Achievements: Orr won GCL Kicker of the Year honors after a standout first season playing football.

  7. Kyler PaulLinebacker at Dayton

    • 247 Sports Rating: Unranked

    • High School Achievements: Paul led the team in tackles and was a versatile player, making significant contributions on both sides of the ball running in touchdowns. He was also a team captain.

  8. Nick MonohanDefensive Lineman at Bryant

    • 247 Sports Rating: Unranked

    • High School Achievements: Monohan was a big presence on the defensive line, making athletic plays to stop the run and contribute to the team’s defensive success.
